Bring a dash of sophistication and culture to your home with our exclusive, handcrafted brass musician display piece! The display piece resembles a one-of-a-kind sculpture of a tall, elongated figure, perhaps abstracted from the classical Dokra art. The figure stands upright with a slim frame and stylized, geometric arms. A hat-like, textured design covers the head, adding to the overall cultural style. The figure is playing a drum which captures the pattern and spirit of traditional music. Also, it is a striking addition to your any collection or as a decorative centerpiece.  Material: Brass  Color: Metallic Gold  Art: Dokra Dokra art is a method of metal casting that has been in use for more than 4,000 years, dating back to the Indus Valley Civilization. Its unique features consist of intricate designs and a rugged, tribal appearance. This ancient craft, which has a complex connection to the natural environment and cultural heritage of the country, is practised by the Dokra Damar people of West Bengal, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, and Jharkhand. The charcoal, beeswax, and clay, all of which are natural materials used in the casting process, are often discovered by artists in the nearby forests. The lost wax process forms a clay framework from which wax designs are sculpted. Afterward, they apply additional clay to the surface in order to establish a mold. Molten brass is poured into the vacant area after the mould has been preheated with wood to remove the wax. The completed work became apparent by breaking the clay after it had cooled, which is a remarkable representation of their culture, surroundings, and craft as artists.  Shop with us today!
